The business functions include:
Global Business Development
This function plays an instrumental role in broadening Aviva Investors’ global footprint across mature and developing markets, as well as leading relationship growth with clients and consultants. It is responsible for all aspects of Aviva Investors' global internal and external business development, marketing and communication strategy. One of the main priorities for this function is building a global platform for cross border business development. The function includes the following teams; global product and strategic relationships, global client investment, global client services, client portfolio management (Investment writing and RFP), corporate affairs, marketing, and events.
Finance (including legal and compliance)
This function is responsible for all aspects of Aviva Investors financial planning and business strategy, accounting, reporting, management information and providing the legal, regulatory and statutory, tax, compliance and risk framework for our business operations. Teams include; strategy and mergers acquisitions, risk and compliance, corporate governance, financial management, legal and company secretarial, and taxation.
Technology
This function is responsible for IT process and systems including client experience, channel management, process design and IT strategy. The main aim of this business area is to optimise the use of information technology to achieve Aviva Investors’ business strategy while maintaining its focus on customer service. Teams include; IT architecture, IT support, systems development and testing, sourcing and supplier management, IT governance, and information risk management.
Operations
This function supports the implementation of our strategy to improve capabilty and cost effectivness by building and running a robust, scalable and cost effecient operating infrastructure. Teams include; business continuity, fund administration and supplier management, business change (focussing on project management and business analysis and buisness efficency), investment operations, programme office and MI, and professional services.
Human Resources
This function is responsible for recruiting, engaging and retaining talent and providing expertise to the business in creating and developing people strategies, designing effective organisational structures, identifying and developing talent, enhancing team performance and engagement, improving performance through coaching and building the culture and leadership to deliver high performance and across the range of personnel issues. Teams include; business partnering, compensation and benefits, employee relations, recruitment, management information and systems, and HR Services.
