• The investment environment is rapidly evolving and the role of external research needs to be continually assessed and selectively applied
• There is a wealth of opportunity beyond benchmarks. Ambitious targets liberate managers with true alpha and minimise index hugging
• We give fund managers full responsibility for their portfolios and an appropriate level of analytical support
• Debate is encouraged: our Emerging Markets team communicate continuously across the desk, and meet formally at least once a week.
