Main responsibilities
David leads Aviva Investors’ advocacy with providers of sustainable finance education and professional development as a member of our Sustainable Finance Centre for Excellence. His work prioritises engagement to support the adoption of macro-stewardship by financial market participants through increasing their understanding of systemic sustainability risks, their relationship to market failures, and the responsibility of investors to support the correction of those failures through policy advocacy and engagement to the long-term material benefit of their clients.
Experience and qualifications
David has worked in impact investing and consultancy over the last 5 years and previously was a fellow of St Catharine’s College, Cambridge. He holds a doctorate in social philosophy and ethics from the University of Cambridge.
