About the Real Assets Study

Our Real Assets Study provides insight into European institutional investors’ appetite for real estate, infrastructure, private corporate debt and structured finance. It highlights the need to address ESG issues, looks at whether supply can meet demand, as well as gauging the potential impact of global challenges such as trade wars.

The research was conducted from 30th April – 10th May 2019 with findings based on the responses of 500 senior investment decision makers at insurance companies and pension schemes in 11 countries, representing over €600 billion of assets under management.

84% consider cashflow matching an integral driver when investing in real assets

Social infrastructure

58% consider social infrastructure an important asset to include in their portfolio
