Biography
Main responsibilities
Stanley leads ESG origination and impact investment strategy for Aviva Investor’s Real Assets business, advising investment teams on transactions across all desks (infrastructure, private debt, and real estate). He leads the development of ESG opinions for transactions, including setting ESG house views on sector and thematic issues. He also supports the structuring and execution of best-in class green, sustainable or transition financing impact strategies.
Stanley is the key ESG representative on Investment Committees and Chairs the ESG Origination Forum.
Experience and qualifications
Prior to Aviva Investors, Stanley worked in the UK Government and Parliament as an environment and energy specialist, advising MPs on green financing in major infrastructure projects including Hinkley Point C and Swansea Tidal. Earlier in his career he supported sustainable development programmes for the UN and Hong Kong Legislative Council.
Stanley holds a BSc from the London School of Economics and is conducting further research at Cambridge University’s Sustainability Leadership Institute.
