16 March 2023 – Closure of the Climate Transition European Equity Fund

As advised in our advanced investor notice, the Climate Transition European Equity Fund closed on the 16th March 2023.

8 June 2022 – Closure of the Aviva Investors European Equity Fund and the Aviva Investors European Equity Income Fund

As advised in our advanced investor notice, the Aviva Investors European Equity Fund and the Aviva Investors European Equity Income Fund closed on the 8th June 2022.

7 June 2022 – Closure of the Aviva Investors Emerging Markets Equity Small Cap Fund

As advised in our advanced investor notice, the Aviva Investors Emerging Markets Equity Small Cap Fund closed on the 7th June 2022.

31 May 2022 – SICAV transition to Article 8

Aviva Investors will transition specific sub-funds from Article 6 to Article 8 Funds in compliance with the European Commission’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (or “SFDR”).  This transition will be effective 1 July 2022 and was advised in the Notice to Shareholders on 31 May 2022 for Aviva Investors (SICAV) and 1 June 2022 for Aviva Investors Global (SICAV-SIF).

The investment process will now include binding ESG characteristics (ESG screens and sector exclusions), further integration of ESG considerations and the investment manager’s transition philosophy into investment decisions.  

This change aligns with Aviva Investors’  long-standing investment philosophy and commitment to responsible investing.  The changes will not affect the sub-funds’ stated investment objectives, the way they are managed or the overall risk profile.

25 February 2022 – Closure of the Aviva Investors - US Equity Income Fund

As advised in our advanced investor notice, the Aviva Investors - US Equity Income Fund closed on the 25th February 2022.

11 February 2022 – Closure of the Aviva Investors Sustainable Income and Growth Fund

As advised in our advanced investor notice, the Aviva Investors Sustainable Income and Growth Fund closed on the 11th February 2022. 

9 February 2022 - Restructure of the Aviva Investors UK Listed Equity High Alpha Fund to the Aviva Investors UK Equity Unconstrained Fund

On 9th February 2022 the fund name was changed from Aviva Investors UK Listed Equity High Alpha Fund to the Aviva Investors UK Equity Unconstrained Fund. The change of name was to reflect a change in the management style and reflected in specific changes to the fund objectives and investment policy. Please see the latest KIID (Key Investor Information Document) and/or Prospectus for the most up to date Fund information.

3 February 2022 - for the Restructure of the Aviva Investors Emerging Markets Equity Income Fund to the Aviva Investors Global Emerging Markets Core Fund

On 3rd February 2022 the fund name was changed from Aviva Investors Emerging Markets Equity Income Fund to the Aviva Investors Global Emerging Markets Core Fund. The change of name was to reflect a change in the management style and reflected in specific changes to the fund objectives and investment policy. 31 March 2021 - Aviva Investors Multi-Strategy Fixed Income Fund

The Sub-Fund was liquidated with net proceeds returned to investors. Any liquidation proceeds which could not be distributed to shareholders were deposited on their behalf with the Caisse de Consignation in Luxembourg.

Feb-20 - Aviva Investors SICAV fund range

Enhanced benchmark disclosures have been across the Aviva Investors SICAV fund range. These enhancements are in response to the revised Q&A released by ESMA in March 2019 which clarifies benchmark and past performance disclosure obligations for UCITS. They reflect how the funds are currently being managed. Please see the latest KIID (Key Investor Information Document) and/or Prospectus for the most up to date Fund information.

17  February 2020 - European Corporate Bond Fund

Change of benchmark from iBoxx € European Corporate Bond Index to Bloomberg Barclays Euro Aggregate Corporate Total Return Index. Current and historic performance data will be displayed against the new benchmark. 

17  February 2020 - Global Aggregate Bond Fund to Global Sovereign Bond Fund

The fund has changed its benchmark from Barclays Capital Global Aggregate Index EUR hedged to Bloomberg Barclays Global Aggregate Treasuries Total Return Index Hedged EUR. The investment policy of the fund has also been updated and the fund will now mainly invest in sovereign bonds. Performance prior to the change will be shown against the old fund benchmark.

30 May 2018 - Aviva Investors Short Duration Global High Yield Bond Fund

Change of investment policy by changing the Sub-Fund’s investment universe, i.e. from the Effective Date the Sub-Fund will generally invest in bonds that are rated below BBB- by Standard and Poor’s or Baa3 by Moody’s (opposed to primarily investing in bonds that are rated above CCC+ by Standard and Poor’s or Caa1 by Moody’s, as stated in the current version of the Prospectus), and by removing the sentence “The Sub-Fund may also invest up to 10% of total net assets (excluding liquidities) in securities rated CCC by Standard and Poor’s or Caa2 by Moody’s,” from the investment policy of the Sub-Fund.

Change of objective/investment policy, adding the following: The Sub-Fund may use derivatives for investment purposes by creating opportunistically both long and synthetic covered short positions with the aim of maximising positive returns. This will notably allow a more efficient risk budgeting while meeting the tracking error objective without additional or unwanted risk. Removal of the threshold of 51% of the earnings generated by listed companies from rental income and clarification on the use of warrants.
