Main responsibilities

Jean-François is the Japanese equities strategy co-manager. Currently Jean-François is also in charge of financial analysis for the European automotive sector.

Experience and qualifications

He joined Aviva Investors France in 1998 as a financial analyst covering three sectors for European equity portfolios (the telecommunications, technology and automotive sectors). His career gradually evolved toward management and in 2002 he was given responsibility for the management of the passive fund Afer-Eurosfer; since 2005 he has been working with Jean-Pierre Salles on Japanese equity investment strategy.

Prior to joining Aviva Investors, Jean-François worked for the Hong Kong subsidiary of UAP Group before moving to UAP Gestion Financière to focus on financial analysis of European equities.

Jean-François Chambon is a certified Society of French Financial Analysts (SFAF) analyst.

He also holds a DEUG in Economic Sciences, a Masters in Applied Information Technology for Business Administration (MIAGE) and a DESS (post-graduate degree) from Paris Dauphine University.
