Aviva Investors expands real estate development team

(London) – Aviva Investors, the global asset management business of Aviva plc (‘Aviva’), has added to its Real Estate Development team, announcing the appointment of Ben Stallwood and Neal Pickering as Development Directors. This follows the appointment of Ben Littmman to the role of Development Director at the end of 2019.

All three hires will report to James Stevens, Head of Development, Global Real Estate, at Aviva Investors.

Neal Pickering has over 29 years of experience in commercial Property and Construction and joins Aviva Investors from the development arm of Skanska, where he was  Director and responsible for the acquisition, delivery, leasing and sale of a number of projects including The Monument Building and 51 Moorgate.

Ben Stallwood joins Aviva Investors from Rider Levett Bucknall where he helped to deliver a number of major mixed-use projects in London, including the £1.2bn York and Winstanley estate regeneration project. Ben has also worked for TfL on the upgrade of a number of its stations and has significant experience in the use of sustainable construction.

Both Neal and Ben will be focused on the delivery of Aviva Investors’ extensive pipeline of office development projects

Ben Littman joined Aviva Investors from Hammerson, where he spent five years as Development Manager and was responsible for leading mixed-use regeneration and development projects. Prior to this, he spent eight years with Sainsbury’s where he was responsible for acquisitions, planning and development of new sites across a number of UK regions.

In his new role, Ben will initially be working on a number of mixed use projects and strategic land joint ventures across the UK.
