David Diemer

David is the fund manager for the Aviva Investors Pension Limited Property Fund, as well as other client portfolios. He is directly responsible for determining the strategy and undertaking acquisitions and disposals on these funds.

Prior to assuming his current role, David was responsible for the investment management of the Aviva Life funds With Profits Real Estate portfolios, amongst other client portfolios. Beore then he was head of the UK Out of Town Retail and Leisure asset management team. The team lead on capital transactions as well as asset enhancement initiatives for all assets in the sector managed by Aviva Investors. As well as leasing management the team also carried out development activity, both directly and in conjunction with partners. He has also worked on a large pooled fund aimed at retail investors, focusing on capital transactions. Before joining Aviva Investors, David has previously worked in asset management for both a listed and a privately held real estate investment and development company, having started his career at an agency practice. David holds a BSc (Hons) in Urban Estate Surveying from Nottingham Trent University and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He also sits on the British Property Federation Insolvency Committee
