Main responsibilities
Ama is an Investment Specialist in Multi-Asset investments within DC Workplace pension strategies. Ama partners with investment directors and portfolio managers to communicate the investment process, portfolio positioning, and performance to clients and consultants.
Experience and qualifications
Ama joined Aviva in 2021 as part of the Leadership Graduate Programme, gaining experience across Risk, Client Relationship Management, and Capital Partners divisions. During this time, she supported the growth of Aviva’s Retirement and Annuity business and contributed to strategic initiatives, including investments in UK Real Estate and Infrastructure projects.
In 2023, Ama transitioned to Aviva Investors as an Investment Specialist, where she played a key role in the commercialisation of the Sustainable Equities and Sustainable Fixed Income franchises before moving into her current role as a Multi-Asset Investment Specialist, where she closely supports the DC Workplace pension strategies and continues to lead on the Stewardship strategies.
Ama holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a Finance specialisation from the University of Manchester and is currently progressing toward the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
