Louise Piffaut

Louise Piffaut is Head of ESG at Aviva Investors and a member of the Sustainable Investing senior leadership team. She leads the firm’s ESG strategy, with a focus on delivering positive investment outcomes for clients through robust integration and stewardship practices. Her team partners closely with investment teams across public and private markets to deliver differentiated ESG research tailored to each asset class. This includes both bottom-up analysis of material ESG risks and opportunities, as well as thematic research that identifies investable trends and supports long-term value creation. In addition to integration, Louise oversees the firm’s stewardship activities, including engagement and proxy voting. 

During her time at Aviva Investors, Louise held different roles in the ESG team. Louise previously worked at Sycomore Asset Management and BNP Paribas Wealth Management. Louise holds a Masters’ degree from Sciences Po Paris in Economics & Business.
