Main responsibilities

Irene joined Aviva Investors in March 2025 as Head of Institutional Solutions, Asia Pacific. Her primary responsibility is to develop the new institutional clients across Asia Pacific that are suitable for Aviva Investor’s investment products and to contribute to the firm’s strategic growth plan.

Experience and qualifications

Irene brings over 18 years of experience in the investment management industry. She joined Aviva Investors from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she was Executive Director, covering central banks and sovereign wealth funds in the Greater China region. Prior to this, she held institutional sales and business development roles at UBS Asset Management, MSCI, and Old Mutual. Irene has worked in London, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Singapore.

Irene holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Education from Suzhou University, China, and a Master of Business Administration (Merit) from the University of Manchester, UK.
