Main responsibilities
Sylvie leads the integration of sustainable solutions and climate risk mitigation across a diverse portfolio of funds in the UK and Europe. Drawing on two decades of experience, Sylvie is instrumental in shaping strategies that deliver positive sustainable investment outcomes for clients and stakeholders in the real assets sector.
Experience and qualifications
Sylvie has held senior sustainability leadership roles across major organisations. Prior to joining Aviva Investors, Sylvie was Sustainability Director and ESG Lead for the UK at CBRE. At CBRE she was responsible for developing the organisation’s ESG strategy, aligning it with global frameworks and UN Sustainable Development Goals, and embedding governance structures and employee engagement. Sylvie also supported CBRE’s Science-Based Targets submission through detailed scope 3 analysis.
Earlier in Sylvie’s career, she held sustainability roles at Gatwick Airport, Marks & Spencer, and Royal Mail Group, where she led carbon management programmes, climate adaptation initiatives, and high-profile corporate responsibility projects. Sylvie began her career in local government, driving waste and sustainable development strategies.
Sylvie holds a Masters of Research in Sustainable Design from Cranfield University and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from the University of Sussex. Sylvie also holds the Certificate in Climate and Investing from CFA Institute and has extensive experience in ESG integration, climate risk modelling, and sustainable real estate.
