Main responsibilities
Chilombo is a Research Analyst in the Private Markets Research Team. She is responsible for providing data-driven insights on real estate market trends and economic indicators to identify investment opportunities across European markets. As part of this role, she manages Aviva Investors’ proprietary models which support the formation of the European real estate house view.
Chilombo also conducts thematic and fundamental research to guide investment decision-making for acquisitions and portfolio strategy.
Experience and qualifications
Prior to joining Aviva Investors, Chilombo worked in policy research and academia. She was a Research Officer at Cambridge Ahead, Research Fellow at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, and lecturer on the BSc in Real Estate programme at the University of Lusaka, Zambia.
Chilombo holds a PhD in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge on a Cambridge Trust scholarship, an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Oxford on a Rhodes scholarship, and a BSc in Real Estate, with distinction, from the Copperbelt University in Zambia.
