Long-standing expertise in sustainable investing
Our 40+ strong sustainable investing team works closely with colleagues across the business, leveraging their skills and knowledge to contribute to clients’ sustainability goals and investment outcomes.
We aim to work in partnership with our clients to understand their specific sustainability needs and identify the right solutions for them. As an asset manager with scale and global reach, we use engagement, voting and investment decisions to support the transition to a sustainable future. We also engage with stakeholders at multiple levels in the financial system, including with policymakers and regulators, to unlock long-term value for investors – an approach we call ‘holistic stewardship’.
Actions to unlock value
We maintain a fundamental conviction that material ESG factors can have an impact on investment returns and client outcomes. By integrating financially material ESG insights in decision making, we aim to better support delivery of long term risk-adjusted returns. Our holistic approach to stewardship aims to further unlock value for investors through engagement.
Solutions that start with you
We understand there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach when it comes to sustainable investing. We work in close partnership with our clients to understand their specific needs, identifying the right solutions to meet their goals.
Designed to last
Through harnessing the learnings and experience we have developed over the past three decades in sustainability risk management, the identification of investible opportunities and an understanding of trade-offs, we believe we are well positioned to address the sustainability challenges of today’s investors.
Focus on climate and nature
Navigating nature
Our society, economies and financial systems are embedded in nature, not external to it. This paper sets out the actions we are taking to understand nature-related risks and opportunities to deliver outcomes that meet our clients’ needs, and to support nature-related global goals.
