Main responsibilities
Alice plays a central role in shaping the portfolio strategy and construction across private markets. She is responsible for ensuring a cohesive and forward-looking approach to portfolio construction that is aligned with client objectives and responsive to evolving market dynamics. Working closely with portfolio managers, she provides strategic insight on portfolio positioning, relative value and asset allocation, supporting investment decisions that drive long term performance.
She leads enhancement of the private markets investment process, working with investment and risk teams to strengthen governance, improve consistency and enable disciplined, outcome-focused decision making. This includes embedding frameworks that sharpen focus on key performance drivers and support a repeatable investment approach.
Alice is also responsible for articulating a clear, consistent holistic private markets investment narrative. She leads the development of regular outlooks, synthesising insights from across the strategy and research team into a cohesive, client-focused view of opportunities and risks. This supports internal decision making and external engagement, ensuring views are communicated clearly and consistently to stakeholders.
Experience and qualifications
Alice has broad experience across private markets and investment research. She joined Aviva Investors in 2018 as a Fund Analyst within real estate equity, before expanding her remit across private markets.
Prior to this, she worked as an Economics Consultant at AECOM, where she advised clients across Europe on financial and market feasibility studies for real estate developments. She holds a Bsc in Economics and Mathematics from Leeds Universibty.
