Ben Luckett

Ben leads on the overall strategy for Venture investing, including Natural Capital and is a member of the Private Markets senior leadership team. 

Ben is passionate about supporting the local community and serves as Aviva’s Community Ambassador for Norwich. He was the founding Managing Director of Aviva Ventures, establishing the fund in 2015 as part of Aviva’s broader growth and innovation strategy.

Prior to this, Ben was Strategy Director for Aviva’s General Insurance business and has also held senior roles in enterprise risk and finance. He has represented Aviva externally across a range of initiatives, including contributing to the investment chapter of the Kalifa Review into FinTech, serving as a board member on Tech Nation’s FinTech Delivery Panel, and more recently working with both the ABI and the BVCA on the Mansion House Reforms.

Ben serves on the boards of Founders Factory, a start-up accelerator, and insurtech platform Roamly, and is Chair of Aviva Capital Partners, which invests in capital projects to generate long-term income for customers and support UK growth. He was previously Chair (SMF9) of the investment platform Wealthify.
