Main responsibilities
Chilombo delivers data-driven insight on real estate market trends and macroeconomic indicators to help identify investment opportunities across European markets. She also manages Aviva Investors’ proprietary models, which support the development of the European real estate house view.
Chilombo also conducts thematic and fundamental research to inform acquisition and portfolio strategy. Her recent work has included research on Spanish multifamily, German and French PBSA, Irish living, and German logistics.
Experience and qualifications
Before joining Aviva Investors, Chilombo worked across policy research and academia. Her previous roles include Research Officer at Cambridge Ahead, Research Fellow at the UN Economic Commission for Africa, and Lecturer on the BSc Real Estate Programme at the University of Lusaka, Zambia. She also gained experience in property at the Zambia State Insurance Corporation.
Chilombo holds a PhD in Land Economy from the University of Cambridge on a Cambridge Trust Scholarship, an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Oxford on a Rhodes Trust Scholarship, and a BSc in Real Estate, with distinction, from the Copperbelt University in Zambia.
