Edward Gladwyn

As Equity Portfolio Construction Lead for Active Equities, Edward is responsible for developing and enhancing portfolio construction and investment frameworks designed to deliver robust and sustainable alpha across equity strategies.

Edward joined Aviva Investors in 2025 as Equity Portfolio Construction Lead for Active Equities.

He has over 15 years' experience in investment management. Prior to joining Aviva Investors, Edward spent more than a decade managing long-only and long-short strategies for institutional investors, spanning systematic and fundamental-overlay approaches. His experience includes multi-factor, ESG-enhanced and thematic investing.

Edward joined the investment industry in 2009 and has held quantitative analysis and portfolio management roles at KPMG, JPMorgan Asset Management, the British Steel Pension Fund and Unigestion.

Edward holds a BA in Economics from Durham University and a Graduate Diploma in Mathematics from the London School of Economics. He has completed all three levels of the CFA Program.
