Andrea Perales Padron

Andrea Perales is the Head of ESG Credit Integration at Aviva Investors. She is responsible for developing integration strategies that drive investment performance in coordination with portfolio managers and credit analysts. This includes ESG performance at the portfolio and issuer level, as well as issuer engagement for risk management and opportunity identification. She also oversees our participation in industry-wide initiatives on sustainability and fixed income.
Prior to this role, Andrea was ESG partner for the high yield credit desk and an ESG consumer analyst, where she covered a wide range of topics such as deforestation, plastics, human rights in supply chains, water risks, and the decarbonization of the auto sector.  

Andrea previously worked at the sustainability consulting firms KKS Advisors, focusing on developing sustainability strategies for private debt investors; ICF Consulting, focusing on American energy markets; and at non-profit Ceres, where she worked on the investor network team. Andrea has also worked at the Council of the European Union, and the European Savings and Retail Banking Group.
She holds a Master’s in International Business from the Fletcher School at Tufts University in Boston.
