Tarek Smili

Tarek is a Sales Director for Aviva Investors European Liquidity Fund with a focus on EU corporates, and is responsible for driving growth in the European Money Market Fund franchise by delivering top-tier liquidity solutions.

Prior to joining Aviva Investors Tarek spent five years with HSBC focussing on loan origination, portfolio management and cash management solutions. Tarek managed a portfolio of over 20 corporate clients, delivering transactions for companies of various sizes and industries, navigating diverse credit facilities including overdrafts, guarantees, letters of credit, RCFs, term loans, convertible bonds and Schuldschein - many with sustainability ties.

Tarek also worked on optimising cash management for corporates through multiple treasury solutions including cash concentration structures for enhanced visibility, control, and yield. Tarek brings a strong understanding of both credit and cash management, and the ability to provide tailored liquidity solutions for our clients at Aviva Investors.
