Ant Barker

Ant leads investment, portfolio management and performance for venture capital activities, and is responsible for the Aviva Group’s corporate venture capital programme, Aviva Ventures. 

Ant is a Chartered Management Accountant with over 10 years’ venture capital experience and more than 20 years in financial services.

Joining the Venture Capital team in 2017, Ant has held several investor director, board observer and non-executive director roles, supporting companies through transitionary periods, exit processes and scaling journeys. He currently serves on the boards of several venture investments and LP advisory boards.

In leading the Aviva Group’s corporate venture capital arm, Aviva Ventures, Ant oversees the deployment and management of approximately £480 million of committed capital across both fund and direct venture investments.
