George is responsible for European and leveraged funds. Based in Aviva Investors’ Paris office, he oversees the team there and has direct responsibility for the European origination, transaction and asset management lines.
Experience and qualifications
George has more than ten years’ experience in various positions in the real estate sector, having worked in investment, asset management and fund management across the UK and continental Europe. On joining Aviva Investors, he ran the European transaction team before moving into fund management. Following the sale of Aviva France in 2021, George set up the Paris based European Real Estate Equity team, restructuring it to align functions suitable to deliver performance and growth. Before joining Aviva Investors, he worked at Exeter Property Group in Amsterdam, Standard Life Investments and Aberdeen Standard Investments.
George holds a BSc in Classical and Ancient Studies and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from the University of Reading. He is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
