MiFID II regulations regarding the assessment of target market information and disclosure of costs and charges came into force in January 2018.

Amendments to the MiFID II Delegated Acts related to target market information and sustainability preferences came into force in August 2022.

UK and Luxembourg regulated Funds

Data in relation to the target market for the Aviva Investors funds (the “AI Funds”) as set out in the EMT is as at the reference date stated in the EMT. Nothing within the EMT is intended to or should be construed as advice, or a recommendation, or a suitability or appropriateness assessment of any nature. No representation is made that the data is correct at any time subsequent to the reference date.

The data is disclosed to you: (i) in your capacity as a distributor of the AI Funds  or in your capacity as the delegate, agent, or otherwise acting on behalf of a distributor of the AI Funds; and (ii) solely to assist distributors in complying with their obligations as defined and detailed under MiFID II (Directive 2014/65/EU) and (in respect of UK regulated funds only) the FCA’s Product Intervention and Product Governance Sourcebook (PROD), which implements the requirements of MiFID II (the “Permitted Purpose”).

Distributors are required to make their own assessment of the target market for the funds they distribute and their distribution strategy based on: (i) information received from product manufacturers; and (ii) information about their own clients.

Forward looking costs figures are estimates based on historic data where available and relevant, or are based upon the MIFID II guidelines for producing estimated forward looking costs figures when historic data is not available. Actual cost figures, which will be reported on an ex-post basis, may vary from estimates given.
