Biography
Main responsibilities
Barney leads the credit and equity investment specialists team. The team works closely with portfolio managers across our credit and equity platform to articulate their investment process, portfolio positioning and investment performance to clients and consultants around the world.
Experience and qualifications
Before his current role, Barney was an investment director covering emerging market debt strategies. He has also held positions in the investment specialists team covering a range of fixed income and equity strategies. Prior to joining Aviva Investors in 2014, Barney worked as an economist for the UK Government Economic Service.
Barney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Sheffield. He is also a CFA charterholder.
