Main responsibilities

Matt provides the commercial link between our Fixed Income Investment teams, Distribution teams, and external clients. He promotes and drives the messaging of Aviva Investors’ Fixed Income investment philosophy, process and positioning, with a particular emphasis on High Yield, Hybrid and ABS strategies.

Experience and qualifications

Matt joined Aviva Investors in 2021 initially in the corporate governance team as a Strategy and Governance manager before moving into the Investment Specialist team.

Matt holds a First-Class BSc Honours degree in Economics and Finance from the Henley Business School at the University of Reading and spent time studying abroad at the University of Texas.

He has passed both levels of the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is a CFA Level III candidate in February 2025.
