Huayin Liu

Huayin Liu is responsible for managing Pension and Insurance portfolios within Aviva Investors’ Global Buy-and-Maintain team. He delivers tailored client outcomes through thoughtful portfolio construction, an active investment approach, and the integration of ESG considerations.

Huayin Liu was previously the Chief Investment Officer at UNA Seguros, a Portugal-based insurance group. Prior to that, he served as a Portfolio Manager at RGA, where he managed insurance assets across the EMEA region in five currencies: GBP, EUR, USD, SGD, and ZAR. He began his career at Redington, working in both the ALM and Investment Manager Research teams, advising UK pension schemes and insurance companies on asset allocation, manager selection, and hedging strategies.

Huayin is a qualified actuary and a CFA charterholder.
