Main responsibilities
Mikhaila leads the Private Debt Sustainability Team within Aviva Investors’ Private Markets business. Her team is responsible for conducting in-depth research reviews on ESG high-risk transactions across all private debt mandates, working closely with origination, credit, and other teams across the Private Markets and broader Aviva Investors businesses. Mikhaila also oversees the sectoral and thematic research produced by her team to support the private debt origination strategy.
Experience and qualifications
Mikhaila previously worked in Aviva Investors’ RFP team as an ESG and Multi-asset & Macro specialist. She also completed a secondment in the Sustainable Outcomes team, producing company deep dives and analysis for one of Aviva Investors’ Climate Transition strategies. Prior to joining Aviva Investors, Mikhaila held Senior Sales positions at LGIM and Schroders.
Mikhaila holds a Master’s in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Sheffield Hallam University. She also holds the CFA’s Impact Investing and Sustainable Investing certifications. Mikhaila is an Associate member of Platform Housing Group’s Assets and Sustainability Committee
