Main responsibilities
Julie leads Aviva Investors’ institutional distribution efforts across the Americas, overseeing strategy, client engagement, and the development of long-term partnerships with institutional investors. Her remit spans both traditional and alternative asset classes, ensuring clients benefit from solutions aligned with the firm’s global capabilities and outcome focused approach.
Working closely with global and regional leadership teams, Julie plays a pivotal role in strengthening Aviva Investors’ market presence, deepening relationships with key institutions, and shaping investment solutions that address the evolving needs of investors across North and Latin America.
Experience and qualifications
Julie brings more than 25 years of experience in institutional investment management, distribution, and advisory roles. Before joining Aviva Investors, she spent 14 years with Franklin Templeton Investments, where she held senior leadership positions, including Senior Vice President, Institutional Investment Services. In that capacity, she strengthened institutional relationships across Canada and advised clients on multi asset, equity, fixed income, and alternative investment strategies.
Earlier in her career, Julie spent 11 years at Industrial Alliance Investment Management, serving as both Fund Manager and Institutional Advisor. Her work focused on pension fund investment oversight and portfolio monitoring.
Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in administration—Finance and International Management—from Université Laval and Grenoble École de Management in France. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
