Sandra Cheng

Sandra joined Aviva Investors in October 2024 as CEO, Asia Pacific and Head of Asia Pacific, Distribution. Her primary responsibility is to lead the Distribution efforts across the Asia Pacific region and to grow the business across the Institutional, Insurance and Wealth channels. Sandra is also part of the Senior Leadership Team that is responsible for contributing to the strategic direction of the firm.  

Sandra brings over 25 years’ experience in the investment management industry and joins from Columbia Threadneedle where she was CEO, Singapore and Head of Institutional, Southeast Asia.  Prior to this, she held roles with Deutsche Asset Management, HSBC Investments and Wellington International Management and have worked in both Singapore and Hong Kong.
Sandra is a keen advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and was the Chair of DEI at her previous firm for the last six years. She is also an active mentor at a number of financial industry groups.
