Michael Borello

Michael is responsible for the fund management of the Aviva Linked Property Fund and Aviva Insurance Limited Property Portfolio, determining the strategy and undertaking acquisitions and disposals on these funds.

Prior to assuming his current role, Michael was the fund manager for multiple segregated mandates for internal and external investors. Before this, Michael was the assistant fund manager in the Retail Funds team, providing support across all of our retail property fund offerings.

Before this, Michael was responsible for undertaking the management and coordination of asset management initiatives for a portfolio of properties across all sectors and regions, for a large pension scheme client. He also managed a portfolio of industrial assets across the UK as a specialist in the sector.

Michael holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature from Durham University and an MSc in Real Estate from Reading University. He is also a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds the IMC.
