Main responsibilities
Grant Speirs was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Aviva Investors in February 2026. He is Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Aviva Investors Holdings Limited, Aviva Investors Global Services Limited, and Aviva Investors UK Fund Services Limited Boards, as well as a member of the Aviva Investors Risk, and Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
Experience and qualifications
Grant brings extensive senior executive experience from global asset management and financial services. Most recently, he served as Group Chief Financial Officer at Fidelity International, where he was responsible for finance, procurement, treasury, and corporate property across a global business operating in multiple jurisdictions. During his tenure, he played a key role in driving strategic change, strengthening financial performance, and supporting sustainable business growth.
Prior to this, Grant was the Group Chief Financial Officer at M&G Investments, which included responsibility for major finance transformation programmes and, on an interim basis, executive oversight of the risk function. He has deep expertise in finance, risk management, governance, operational transformation, and regulatory matters.
Grant is a Chartered Accountant.
