Main responsibilities
James is the Fund Manager for the for the UK & European Real Estate Equity sub-funds of the Climate Transition Real Assets Long Term Asset Fund. Based in Aviva Investors’ London office, he has direct responsibility for implementing the sub-fund strategy and delivering performance.
Experience and qualifications
James originally joined Aviva Investors Paris office an investment manager, responsible for investment activity in Germany and Spain. He joined from abrdn in Amsterdam where he was European Deputy Fund Manager on their logistics property income trust, balanced core plus fund and value add office fund. Prior to that, he was responsible for asset management and transactions in the Netherlands and Sweden for Standard Life Investments based in Paris.
James graduated with a BSc in Biology from The University of Nottingham and has an MSc in Real Estate from the University of Reading. He is also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
